Stream Cliff Farm

Owner, Betty Manning, known as “Miss Betty, Hoosier Folk Artist,” has been busy creating her well-loved primitive folk art paintings of scenes from around the farm or of memories from the past. She enjoys sharing her new works of art on social media through the Stream Cliff Farm Facebook and Instagram and her Instagram page - PrimitiveArtByBetty.

She has started selling a few of her original paintings through these social media sites and has held an exhibit at Perceptions Yoga, Mindfulness & Art, in Vernon, Indiana and The Spot, in Madison, Indiana. Betty plans to have a booth of her original paintings and prints in front of the Antique Shop during the Old Barn Markets. Quilt & Art Shows

Winding Waters Quilt Guild will have their quilt show in our barn on Saturday May 17, 10:00-4:00. Bring your favorite quilt to discuss at the “Show & Tell” event at 2:00.

The Harmony Guild Quilt Show will be Saturday, September 20. A “Show and Tell” will be held for anyone to bring a quilt and share their story at 2:00.

Betty Manning has a new folk art painting called, “Quilt Show in the Barn.” It will be on display during both Quilt Shows and she will have prints available for purchase.

Find wonderful arts, crafts, antiques and gift items at our Old Barn Markets. There will be more than 50 vendors set up in the Chapel, Barn and meadow north of the Barn for this exciting shopping event. Owner, Betty Manning, will have a booth of her folk art set up in front of the Antique Shop during both of the Old Barn Markets.

Miss Betty's book, Secrets of the Garden Paths, with Recipes is a hardcover book with 136 full color pages. It has many photographs of Stream Cliff Farm, a whole section on culinary herbs and many, many recipes that have been used in the tearoom, some family secret recipes, as well as some that have been taught in the Farm's Cooking School.
